Barcelona have Atalanta’s player Marten de Roon on their list of possible signings, as the midfielder’s contract expires next summer, Mundo Deportivo’s Miguel Rico reports.
The 29-year-old plays as a defensive midfielder and is known for his stamina and huge work rate.
Koeman is familiar with De Roon as he coached Marten while working for the Dutch national football team.
The Dutch midfielder joined Atalanta in 2017; since then, he’s managed 11 goals and 12 assists in 182 matches.
