Barca will sign a forward in January only if Dembele turns out worse than expected 

Depay seems to be the only forward Barca are currently monitoring.

Barcelona will sign a new forward in the winter market only if Ousmane Dembele’s injury turns out to be worse than initially expected, Diario Sport’s reliable Lluis Miguelsanz reports.
The Frenchman has picked up a thigh injury and will reportedly be back by the end of December.
If Barca do go after someone, it’s most likely going to be Memphis Depay, who can play both as a left winger and a centre-forward.
The Dutchman’s contract at Lyon expires in June 2021; if the Catalans don’t sign Memphis in January, he could join for free next summer.
