Barcelona will try to close the transfer of Jules Kounde of around €45m, Gerard Romero reports. They are currently waiting for Sevilla to accept some of the proposed conditions before resuming negotiations.
It’s been reported previously that Xavi sees Kounde as the perfect option to pair up with Ronald Araujo next season. Gerard Pique, meanwhile, is expected to lose his starting role.
In the 2021/22 season, the centre-back recorded three goals and one assist in 44 matches for Sevilla.
