The Catalans have left their 31-year-old basketball player in Istanbul and may now face legal repercussions.
Barcelona got involved in a rather controversial situation: they didn’t allow their basketball player Thomas Heurtel to board the team plane after their game with Anadolu Efes on Tuesday.
He stayed in Istanbul as a punishment for negotiating with Real Madrid even though the Catalan club tried to offload him earlier.
The whole situation is aggravated because of the travelling restrictions due to the coronavirus regulations.
Barca may now face legal repercussions as Heurtel is still under contract.
Heurtel is a 31-year-old point guard who has been at Barca since 2017.
