Diario Sport claim that Barcelona are close to adding Ilaix Moriba’s youngest brother, Baba Kourouma, to the academy. He is expected to be assigned to Infatil A (U14).
Baba, the youngest of the three brothers, was born in 2009 and he plays as a central defender. The youngster has been training at La Masia for a while now but bureaucratic problems need to be solved before he can be officially registered.
Ilaix’s career at Barca was short-lived. The Catalans wanted to promote the midfielder to the first team, but the increased wage demands resulted in him being sold to RB Leipzig. The German club is now looking to part ways with the Guinean player as well.
