Despite previous reports, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will not play from the start against Atletico Madrid this Sunday, Javi Miguel of Diario AS says. Instead, Adama Traore, Ferran Torres and Ousmane Dembele will form the attacking trio.
Aubameyang will enter the pitch in the second half. Xavi will not take any risks with the new Barcelona striker. He hasn’t played for almost two months and is at risk of a muscle injury in case of an overload.
As for Dembele, it appears that Xavi has convinced the club to let him use the player. Ousmane refused to leave in January despite not wanting to extend his contract.
