“Leo Messi is my favourite outfield player. When you train with him, you just stare at the amazing things he does. He scores goals past you and you don’t even move. Then you and you wonder, how can he do that? At first, you get pissed off but then you realize that Messi has scored past you and that’s normal,” Barcelona B goalkeeper Inaki Pena has told Diario Sport.
Pena actually acts as the third-choice goalkeeper at Barcelona despite formally being part of the reserves. He trains with the seniors on a daily basis and is even summoned up for matches. He’s yet to make his debut.
For Barca B, meanwhile, Inaki has played three matches this season, conceded one goal and kept two clean sheets.
