Aston Villa stance on Coutinho’s €40m buyout clause revealed

Aston Villa are unhappy about Philippe Coutinho’s €40m buyout clause, according to Diario Sport.
The Premier League side are satisfied with the Brazilian’s recent performances. However, they would like to buy the player out for a much lower fee in the summer.

The buyout clause is not mandatory and the 29-year-old could come back to Barcelona in the summer.

Coutinho has scored 2 goals and provided 2 assists in just 3 matches for Aston Villa so far.
