Arsenal have made a solid start to the 2020/21 campaign but know more must be done in the summer transfer window to improve.
Mikel Arteta does not have the funds available to him such as Chelsea manager Frank Lampard but the Gunners are still making some noise in the transfer market.
So far in the summer window, the Gunners have completed the signings of Willian, Gabriel Magalhaes, Dani Ceballos and Alex Runarsson, but Arteta’s side are looking to complete other deals.
A midfielder is also on the agenda, with Atletico Madrid’s Thomas Partey a target, whilst Lyon’s Houssem Aouar has also been linked with a move to the Emirates.
Meanwhile, Matteo Guendouzi, Shkodran Mustafi, and Lucas Torreira have all been linked with moves away.

Folarin Balogun will cost any potential suitor at least £10million this summer.
It’s understood the 19-year-old will cost at least that amount despite only having one year remaining on his contract.
Sheffield United were the most recent club linked, and they were reported to have made a £3million offer.

Elneny talks
Mohamed Elneny could be set to leave Arsenal.
As reported by the Daily Star, his agent is currently in Turkey, exploring offers from Galatasaray and Trabzonspor.
Lucas Torreira expected to arrive at Atletico Madrid
Arsenal have a game against Leicester City this evening.
But Lucas Torreira may not be in the squad as AS are reporting that he’s due to arrive in Spain ahead of his move to Atletico Madrid in the coming hours.
Coutinho tipped to sign
Arsenal’s close relationship with agent Kia Joorabchian has seen a number of players – including Willian and Cedric – complete permanent moves this summer.
Another Joorabchian client linked with the club is Philippe Coutinho, with the Brazilian among a number of players who could be allowed to leave Barcelona as new manager Ronald Koeman attempts to build his squad.

Raya update
Arsenal are still interested in Brentford 6 David Raya.
That’s despite the signing of Alex Runarsson.
Raya is said to be keen on making the move to North London, but Brentford do not want to lose him.
Arsenal are understood to be keen on Raya, but will only likely make a move if Matt Macey departs.
Raya is said to be valued at £10million.
