Burnley defender Nathan Collins could come back into contention after recovering from an unspecified injury.

Maxwel Cornet awaits his debut but this game comes too soon for Connor Roberts, Kevin Long and Dale Stephens.

Sean Dyche’s new contract is great news for Burnley. The Clarets played quite well against Everton on Monday, just like they did against Liverpool at the start of the season, but they did not get anything out of either game.
Arsenal are cautiously managing Thomas Partey, who returned from injury last week and may again be on the bench.

Granit Xhaka remains suspended, while Mohamed Elneny and Rob Holding are still out with respective hamstring and knee problems.

Arsenal got a first goal, and a first win, against Norwich last week- but today’s match against Burnley may be different. It will be a real test for the Gunners.

Burnley have not had a player sent off in their last 97 top-flight games, a Premier League record, Arsenal, meanwhile, have had 10 players dismissed in the league since Mikel Arteta took charge in December 2019.

On Head-to-head, Burnley have not lost any of the last three encounters – including two draws – though they were beaten in the preceding 10 Premier League meetings.

Meanwhile, Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp could be without injured Roberto Firmino in today’s match against Crystal Palace.

Jordan Henderson could start in place of Harvey Elliott, who has had surgery on the fractured and dislocated ankle he sustained against Leeds on Sunday. Liverpool have had a good week so far with wins over Leeds and AC Milan. The run could continue today.

The Reds have gone 14 league games without defeat, the longest current unbeaten run in England’s top four divisions (W11, D3).

Liverpool are the first side since Chelsea in 2009 to have had 100 shots on goal after four Premier League matches of a season.

On its part, Crystal Palace summer signings Odsonne Edouard, Michael Olise and Will Hughes are all pushing for a first start.

Luka Milivojevic came off the bench last week after a four-month absence.

Crystal Palace got a great result last week when they completely outplayed Tottenham, but they are going to be a little bit up and down for a while yet.
