“Just a reminder that : “Arda Turan : 55 games = 17 goals + 11 assists “Griezmann : 57 games = 17 goals + 5 assists”.

However, mere numbers don’t always tell the full story. Although Turan’s result is better, you could argue that Griezmann’s is doing better at Barca than Arda ever did. Here’s why:
- Arda Turan joined a treble-winning Barcelona with the famous MSN trio upfront that scored goals for fun.
- In the 2015-16 season, the Catalans recorded 173 goals, with the Turkish international scoring only two of them (Turan couldn’t play the first half of the season due to the transfer ban imposed on Barca).
- In the 2016-17 season, Barca scored 171 goals in total, and 13 of them, or 7.6% of the total, were scored by Turan.
- Meanwhile, Barca netted 110 goals in Griezmann’s first season at Camp Nou, as the Frenchman scored 15 of them or 13.6% of the total.
