Biafra: IPOB’s Nnamdi Kanu Makes Huge Claims About Yorubas, North-West, North-East
Nwannekaenyi “Nnamdi” Kanu, a Nigerian Biafra political activist, and leader of the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), a group canvassing for the secession and sovereignty of Eastern Nigeria, on Wednesday said the ‘entire Oduduwa (Yoruba people) is unhappy, that is why it is demanding restructuring ditto for North-Central’.
Controversial Kanu who made this assertion on his known Twitter handle added that “poverty-ridden North-West and North-East are miserable but are cowed by terror”. Read more here.
Biafra: Nnamdi Kanu’s Lawyer Slams ‘Bootlickers From South East’
Ifeanyi Ejiofor, the lawyer to Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has lashed out at “bootlickers from the South East who were deceived with the promises of Second Niger Bridge”.
Ejiofor was reacting to the House of Representatives Committee on Works’ declaration on Thursday that the 2nd Niger Bridge, Lagos-Ibadan and Abuja-Kaduna roads cannot be completed under President Muhammadu Buhari. Read more here.
Biafra: IPOB’s Nnamdi Kanu Gets ‘Huge’ Backing
Nwannekaenyi “Nnamdi” Kanu, a Nigerian Biafra political activist, and leader of the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), a group canvassing for the secession and sovereignty of Eastern Nigeria has earned the backing of Chief John Mayor Echefu, the National President of Indigenous Igbo Youth Congress (IIYC).
In a recent statement, Echefu emphasised that his group after considering the plight of the Igbo has decided to support Kanu in his peaceful approach to the realisation of the Biafra project. Read more here.
