The Yoruba Council of Elders (YCE), yesterday, implored the National Assembly not to approve the loan request by President Muhammadu Buhari.

The YCE Secretary-General, Dr. Kunle Olajide, during a chat with The Guardian, said the National Assembly must not approve any facility for the administration that has less than two years.

Olajide, who lamented that the nation’s debt profile was appalling and unjustifiable, said the request must be rejected.
