The commandant said that the NSCDC had deployed 75 personnel to the 35 designated JAMB centres in Kano with the aim of ensuring safety and protecting JAMB materials.

“We want the conduct of the JAMB examination to be an exemplary one. In the past, we have arrested some groups of people that seek patronage from the candidates to impersonate,” he said.

Abdu-Tambuwal noted that NSCDC personnel would conduct a rigorous search on candidates toward ensuring that weapons and other prohibited items were not brought to the examination centres.

“We have five mobile vehicles with our personnel that would be patrolling all the 35 designated centres with the aim of curtailing any challenge that may arise,” he said.
