The Ondo State Government has been ranked first in the rating of the 36 states of the Federation in Public Sector Accounting Procedures by the Federal Government.

This was contained in the current report on the Monitoring and Evaluation of International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS) Implementation released by the Federal Ministry of Finance.

The state’s Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Mr. Donald Ojogo, in a statement in Akure, yesterday, said that the report had already been sent to the World Bank in readiness for yet-to-be-specified funds as grant to Ondo.

Meanwhile, the Ondo State Government has shared N137 million revenue that accrued from Land Use Charge, as well as radio and television licence, in the last six months, to the 18 local councils of the state.
