Jehovah’s Witnesses begins ‘hope’ campaign

Jehovah’s Witnesses in Nigeria has started a special campaign that focuses on the Bible’s hope for a better world for November.
The campaign in Lagos would include the distribution of a special edition of The Watchtower magazine with the theme “A better World is Near.”

In a statement by Spokesman for Jehovah’s Witnesses in Nigeria, Olusegun Eroyemi, Lagos will be one of the thousands of communities around the globe to receive a powerful message of hope.

Eroyemi said the magazine addresses the age-old question: Is this world going to end? And explains the Bible promises of an end to injustice.

He added that more than 36 million printed copies of the magazine would be distributed in 230 languages and in 240 lands around the globe with a digital publication available in 400 languages.

The spokesman said that the need to reach out to the world was due to the despair around the world.

“There is so much despair and nothing can be as refreshing as a message of hope. That is the central theme of Jesus’ gospel. A better world is indeed near,” he said.
