Insecurity Should Be Tackled With Rapt Attention- CAN Youths Tell Buhari

The Youth Wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria, YOWICAN has called for calm in the current state of insecurity in the country.

The National Chairman for YOWICAN, Hon. Amb. Belusochukwu Michael Enwere issued a statement where he weighed in on the insecurity crisis in the South East. He called for prompt and undivided attention in dealing with the issue of insecurity.

According to him, there should be a call for peaceful dialogue across all sectors in the country and then call on the youth to give peace a chance and stop forthwith these wanton destruction of lives and properties

In his words: ”I wish to on behalf of all Christian Youth, as the National Chairman of YOWICAN call for restraint and stoppage of all this deadly act.

”The scars of the civil war are still fresh in our minds and psyche and so, we cannot afford another one.
