Controversial journalist, Kemi Olunloyo has in the early hours of Monday, November 9, said that suspected internet fraudsters Hushpuppi and Woodberry may soon be freed.

Afriupdate recalls that Hushpuppi known for his flamboyant lifestyle on social media platforms was picked by the FBI in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on June 10, 2020, after he was embroiled in a $35 million ventilator scam.

In a damning video released by Dubai Police tagged ‘Operation Fox Hunt 2’, it was revealed that the Instagram big boy, born Ramon Olorunwa Abass, scammed 1,926,400 victims.

The trial of Hushpuppi, earlier slated to commence on October 13 was suspended due to COVID-19 and was scheduled to continue on May 4, 2021.
