Following the declaration of the immediate disbandment of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) unit of the Nigeria Police Force by the Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, Mr. P has taken to his Twitter handle to strongly warn politicians planning ahead of the 2023 election.

The declaration follows days of offline and online protests against the extortion, brutality and non-stop killings of youths by SARS officials nationwide.

Reacting to the disbandment of SARS, Mr. P said that the 2023 election would not be the way the previous ones have been, as it will be a “no-nonsense era”.

He wrote: “This is the beginning of a New Nigeria! SARS has been dissolved!!! To all the politicians planning election 2023 it’s not going to be business as usual again! NO-NONSENSE ERA!”
