Ebonyi state government has recorded 21 new COVID-19 cases, total number of infections rising to 285.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) disclosed this via Twitter on Friday night.
With the rise of COVID-19 infections in Ebonyi state, it now ranked top in Southeast states with the highest number of confirmed cases of coronavirus.
So far, Ebonyi state has successfully managed and discharged 247 Covid-19 patients and 1 (one) death has been recorded in the state.
