CEO of IPI solutions and owner of the controversial social media app, Crowwe, has been suspended on Instagram for policy violation.
Garba announced this on his Facebook handle on Wednesday morning.
He had vociferously canvassed opinions against the 2020 #EndSARS protest, while taking the side of the government, going on to instituting a $1 billion suit in an Abuja High Court against Twitter’s CEO Jack Dorsey over donations made for the demonstrations.
He wrote, “They’ve taken down my Instagram account too. This could happen to anyone for voicing out contrary opinions. More reasons why we should work excellently on Crowwe.”
This is coming a day after his Crowwe app was flagged down by Google Playstore for copyright violation and poor ratings by Nigerians.
The Crowwe app, which has been described as an instant messaging and financial transaction app that comes with a digital wallet that helps to transfer and receive money while chatting, has received worst reviews.
A quick check on the Playstore revealed that the app was unavailable as of Press time.

Following the announcement of the Twitter ban by the Federal Government of Nigeria, the former Presidential Candidate and avid supporter of President Muhammadu Buhari presented the Crowwe app as an alternative to the microblogging website and one that could help “to grow Nigeria.”
He still insists Nigerians should dump all foreign social media platforms for his Crowwe app.
