President Muhammadu Buhari has reportedly sent a delegation made up of governors, ministers and the Director-General of the State Security Service, Yusuf Bichi to meet with the Kano Royal Family to set date for the wedding of his son, Yusuf with Zahra Bayero

According to report, the advance team arrived in Kano on Saturday afternoon with bales of kolanut and other articles for the wedding date-fixing formalities.

The delegation is billed to meet with the patriarch of the Bayero family, Idris Bayero, and the Emir of Kano, Aminu Bayero, on Sunday.

Afriupdate News recalls that the news of the planned wedding of Buhari’s son, Yusuf with Zahra Bayero, the daughter of Emir of Bichi in Kano State, Nasiru Bayero was reported in March with sources stating that the wedding will take place after Sallah holidays.
