BREAKING: One Shot Dead As Robbers Attack Banks in Iree (VIDEO)

A yet-to-be-identified person have been reportedly killed as armed robbers attacked two commercial banks in Iree, Osun state, on Thursday evening.

Afriupdate News gathered that the armed robbers arrived at the banks some minutes to 4:00 PM Thursday evening and operated for about 15 minutes before they fled.

According a student of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, simply identified as Olaide, said the attackers escaped through Ada/Iree road shooting into the air as they fled the area,

“One person was shot. He is a man and he died instantly,” Olaide added.

Police spokesperson in the state, Yemisi Opalola, confirmed the incident, saying “our tactical teams have been deployed to the area.”
