- Bitcoin price is up 5%, and it traded to a new all-time high above USD 68,000.
- Ethereum also traded to a new all-time high above USD 4,800, XRP is consolidating gains.
- LRC and BAT are up over 27%.
Bitcoin price remained in a steady uptrend, and it broke the USD 66,000 level. BTC even surpassed the USD 68,000 level and traded to a new all-time high near USD 68,640. It is currently (04:17 UTC) consolidating gains above USD 68,500 and it could extend rally towards USD 69,000.
Besides, most major altcoins are also rising steadily. ETH broke the USD 4,750 level and traded to a new all-time high near USD 4,860. XRP is consolidating gains and facing hurdles near USD 1.28. ADA is up 6% and surpassed USD 2.15.

Bitcoin price
After clearing the USD 66,000 resistance, bitcoin price extended its increase. BTC broke the USD 67,500 and USD 68,000 resistance levels. The current price action suggests there are chances of more gains. The next stop is near the USD 70,000 level. Any more gains could set the pace for a move towards the USD 72,000 level.
On the downside, an initial support is near the USD 66,200 level. The next key support is near the USD 66,000 level, below which the price might test USD 65,000.
Ethereum price
Ethereum price also followed bitcoin and surpassed the USD 4,650 resistance level. ETH even broke the USD 4,800 level and traded to a new all-time high. It is now consolidating gains, with an initial support near the USD 4,780 level. The next key support is near USD 4,750 below which the price might test USD 4,700.
On the upside, an immediate hurdle is near the USD 4,850 level. Any more upsides may perhaps open the doors for a test of the key USD 5,000 barrier.
ADA, BNB, SOL, SHIB, and XRP price
Cardano (ADA) started a fresh increase above the USD 2.05 resistance level. The price is up 6% and is trading above the USD 2.15 level. If the bulls remain in action, the price could rise towards the USD 2.25 level.
Binance coin (BNB) is consolidating near the USD 650 level. If there is a close above USD 650 and USD 655, the price could start a fresh rally. In this case, the price might rise towards the USD 665 and USD 675 levels.
Solana (SOL) is stuck near the USD 250 resistance. SOL must settle above USD 250 to start another increase. Conversely, there is a risk of a downside correction towards the USD 232 level.
SHIB settled above the USD 0.0000550 level. An immediate resistance is near the USD 0.0000565 support level. The next key resistance is near the USD 0.000058 level, above which the price could test the USD 0.000060 level.
XRP price is showing positive signs above the USD 1.25 level. An immediate hurdle is near the USD 1.280 level. A close above USD 1.280 could push the price towards the USD 1.30 level. On the downside, the bulls might remain active near USD 1.250.
Other altcoins market today
Many altcoins are up over 8%, including LRC, BAT, LTC, ZRX, KCS, VET, DASH, ETC, CRO, NEO, OKB, EOS, GRT, and BCH. Out of these, LRC gained over 36% and it broke the USD 2.10 level before correcting lower.
Overall, bitcoin price is gaining pace above the USD 67,500 level. It seems like BTC could rise steadily towards the USD 70,000 level in the near term.
