Bauchi governor Bala Muhammed tests positive for coronavirus

Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State has tested positive for coronavirus after his contact with Mohammed Atiku Abubakar, son of the former Vice-President, Atiku Abubakar, who is also tested positive for the virus.

His media aide, Mukhtar Gidado, announced the result of the test on Tuesday.

The governor, his family and commissioners announced their self-isolation on Monday.
