#LekkiMassacre: Buhari Fails To Speak On Killing Of Protesters

President Muhammadu Buhari has failed to address the killing of unarmed #ENDSARS protesters by men of the Nigerian Army in Lekki while addressing the nation on thursday.

Buhari who spoke paid tribute to police officers killed in the cause of the protest, called on Nigerian youths to put an end to the protest and constructively engage the government in finding lasting solution.

He further appealed to the protesters to take of various initiatives intorduced by his administration to make their lives better.

It will be recalled that men of the Nigerian army on Tuesday opened fire on unrmared #ENDSARS protesters.

The president who has since then failed to address the nation in respect to the killings, also failed to make a comment to its regards while addressing the nation during a live broadcast of Nigeria Television Authority (NTA).

“It has become necessary for me to address you having heard from many concerned Nigerians and having concluded a meeting with all the Security Chiefs.

” I must warn those who have hijacked and misdirected the initial, genuine and well – intended protest of some of our youths in parts of the country, against the excesses of some members of the now disbanded Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS). Said Buhari.
