We had earlier reported that beneficiaries are fuming over what they describe as “habitual delay of their monthly Npower stipends” by the N-Power scheme.

Most of them took to the social investment social media handle to berate the scheme for not playing their part by paying their allowance.

Meanwhile, the Nigerian government’s N-Power Scheme has assured beneficiaries that payment for March stipend “will commence today”.

The truth is that the minister of humanitarian affairs is not interested in the plight of N-power volunteers and really does not care, Since the program is not her brain child ,what is she trying to understand about it each time the as

Every month ,the new minister on humanitarian development and disaster management will delayed and put the volunteers stipends in a fixed with banks and the presidency will claim def ears, I hope the international communities are not watching us and our senators are equally not the ones with voted there for our own interests ,or are they not aware on our effort to do our very best teaching in school ,some days we track down to school but on month ends we wont see our stipends even when it doesn’t reaches our families not due to high cost of livelihoods new adays. We deserve to be permanently employed and be paid when due.

I heard that NPower transition will soon commence.

Most volunteers could not register to the transition due to the issues with their site. And the site has not been open since after the first time it was opened for registration. Please when is the site going to be opened again?

Why do we always have to deliberate on stipend issue all the time before payment is made. Don’t we need money to be to stay at home. Especially now that this pandemic is ravaging the entire world.

Federal Teachers Scheme (FTS) has not been paid their 3 months stipend of January to March. These are the people that was screened before they were employed by the Federal government under the supervision of UBEC. Please something should be done and on time because we are really hungry. It was a 2 years program and was just given 21 months stipend, please the remaining three months should be paid to us.

    Thanks

I don’t know why Nigerian govt is treating us like this, no job, no welfare, nothing nothing, the stipend that supposed to be paid at every 27th of the month is now a difficult task again, why is it that government has no pity for the masses. What is our country turning to for Godsake. ?
