A Ghanaian Prophet, the Founder and leader of Glorious Word Power Ministry International identified as Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah claims he prophesized about the outbreak of the deadly Coronavirus (COVID-19) disease and its devastating effect, Afriupdate reports.

According to the Prophet, he couldn’t mention the name of the disease during his prophecy some years ago so it is not familiar to him.

“I stood in my church and stated that a deadly disease will kill a lot of people in 2020 if we do not pray fervently. But I didn’t mention the name ‘coronavirus’ because I had never heard the name.

What I know is Malaria, Hepatitis B and BP. Even if God had mentioned the name of the disease to me as ‘coronavirus I wouldn’t have been able to pronounce it. Even now I find it very difficult to mention the name rightly,” Rev. Owusu Bempah told Kasapa 102.5FM Tuesday.

Rev. Bempah said this when he was responding to criticism that he prophesied about a fire outbreak at the Electoral Commission Headquarters in Ghana but failed to foresee the outbreak of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) disease.

The Coronavirus (COVID-19) disease which first broke out in China-Wuhan is caused by a member of the coronavirus family that has never been encountered before.

A shift in the crisis appeared to be taking shape, as hundreds of patients were released from hospitals at the epicenter of the outbreak in China and the World Health Organization reported that nine times more cases were reported outside the country than inside it over the past 24 hours.

At the same time, the virus popped up for the first time in New York, Moscow and Berlin, and clusters of the disease surged around the world. In the U.S., health officials announced four more people died, bringing the total to six, all in Washington state, where researchers said the virus may have been circulating undetected for weeks.

The global death toll pushed past 3,000, and the number of people infected topped 89,000, with fast-expanding outbreaks in South Korea, Italy and Iran.
