Customs

Officers of the Nigeria Customs Service have been charged to place the service above personal interest and serve the nation with optimum dedication.

Newly promoted Deputy Comptroller General, DCG, Enforcement, Investigation and Inspection, Elton Edorhe gave the charge at the Customs Zone ‘C’ Headquarters in Port Harcourt at the weekend.

Edorhe, the immediate past Assistant Comptroller General and Zonal Coordinator, Zone ‘C’ said, “Those who have worked under me know that we are in a very disciplined service. We place our jobs above personal interest, they know that clearly too.”
Similarly, the new Assistant Comptroller General of Zone ‘C’, Kayode Olusemire pledged to render credible services that would impact positively the nation’s economy. “We want the service to be seen as a corporate entity where right things are done in proper ways,” he said.
