African Soccer Legends Drogba, Eto’o Rejects COVID-19 Vaccine Test In Africa

Didier Drogba and Samuel Eto’o have reportedly criticised two French doctors who wear in talks in French Television to open a study in Africa to test vaccines of the deadly Coronavirus pandemic infection.

The vaccine is referred as BCG vaccine which is used to cure tuberculosis.

Proffessor Jean Paul Mira, head of the intensive care unit at the Cochin Hospital in Paris, said that if he can be productive shouldn’t they perform the study test in Africa, were they lack mask, treatment and resuscitation, Professor Camille Lorcht research director at inserm replied that ” You are right, we are currently thinking in parallel with abouty a study in Africa to make this type of approach with the BCG” said Lorcht.

However Eto’o and Drogba harshly reacted to the suggestions of both French professors that Africa is not a play ground and accused the doctors the doctors of treating people like guinea pigs.

Afriupdate reports that Drogba expressed this on his official Twitter handle, he wrote;

“It is inconceivable that we continue to accept this. I strongly denounce these serious, racist and contemptuous remarks!

‘Help us save lives in Africa and stop the spread of this virus which is destabilising the whole world, instead of considering us as guinea pigs. It is absurd!

‘African leaders have a responsibility to protect people from these heinous plots.’ said former Chelsea start Didier.

It is totally inconceivable we keep on cautioning this.
Africa isn’t a testing lab.
I would like to vividly denounce those demeaning, false and most of all deeply racists words.

African leaders have a responsibility to protect their populations from those horrendous conspiracies.

This calls upon African leaders to prevent these such laboratory that will be tested on Africans because they are seen as the lower class across the globe.
