Over 2 million people in Kenya have had first jab

Kenya’s health ministry on Thursday announced that it has vaccinated a total of 2,807,945 people, with 2,000,285 receiving their first doses while 807,660 second doses.

The ministry also announced that a total of 970 people had tested positive for COVID-19 on Tuesday raising the total number of COVID-19 cases to 237,851.

Data released on Tuesday shows that a total of 224,882 patients had recovered while the number of fatalities rose to 4,746.
