The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), on Monday, confirmed 229 new cases of coronavirus in the country, bringing the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the country to 8068.
The NCDC made this known via its Twitter handle on Monday night. it also said that 90 of the new infections were recorded in Lagos.
Seven new deaths were also reported by the Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC, to bring the total number to 233 with 2311 recoveries.
Lagos, the epicenter of the pandemic in the country, added 90 of the new cases while Katsina added 27. See below for a breakdown of the numbers.
