The coronavirus pandemic that resulted in a subsequent lockdown has affected many people in different ways with some even without work.

Although those who make their money online should be smiling to the bank this period, it has been difficult for some.

One of such people who hasn’t had it easy is Billie Beever an influencer who shared a crying video on TikTok over losing followers on the website, OnlyFans.

The site allows people to set up a paywall around their content and many, including Billie, use it to share rather x-rated posts.

The video that has amassed over 12,000 views has Billie explain that she used OnlyFans as her main source of income and the drop in followers means she can no longer afford her rent.

She said:

“I’m losing subscribers on OnlyFans like – my main source of income – I can’t pay my rent anymore.

“And like even if I was to go back to work like what am I supposed to do, like go work in a strip club? Which they’re all closed down as well.”

She continued:

“I have nothing else going for me. I have no other talent. I can’t dance, I can’t sing. I can’t do anything so like I don’t understand what I’m supposed to do.”

The young woman added that she just wanted things to “go back to normal” so people would subscribe to her page again.

Her video was met with mixed reactions as some are sympathetic with her while others believe she needs a reality check.

On the Australian podcast, Not Here To Make Friends, the influencer was urged to go out and “do something good for society” instead.

Presenter Carla Bignasca proclaimed:

“I don’t want to take glee in someone’s misfortune, but I’m glad you’ve realised you’ve got no other talent.

“Join the rest of us. And go and stack shelves and do something good for society.”
