Operatives of the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) of the Lagos State police command have arrested 19-year-old Mayowa Adedoyin, a notorious traffic robber in Oshodi.
The suspect was arrested by RRS motorcycle riders at Oshodi-Oke, inward Anthony-Oke at about 9:00 p.m. on Saturday while he was terrorizing motorists held in gridlock due to road repairs on that axis.
Confirming the arrest, RRS spokesman, Maliki Femi, said: “The suspect, operating with his colleague had tried unsuccessfully to rob a man in traffic.
Our riders, acting on report laid siege on the duo and Adedoyin was arrested. He has been handed over to Makinde Police Station in Oshodi. Our riders are on the lookout for his colleague”.
