Nollywood Actress Louisa Nwobodo Dies At 78

Veteran Nigerian actress Louisa Nwobodo has died. She was aged 78.

According to reports, the septuagenarian passed away on Sunday, September 13th, 2020. DAILY POST reports that the Former Chairman, Actors Guild of Nigeria, Enugu Chapter, Stan K Amadi, confirmed that Nwobodo died shortly after collapsing in her car at St. Mulumbas Catholic Church, New Haven, Enugu.

The report also added that she was rushed to the hospital where she was confirmed dead. Her body has been deposited at the morgue pending her funeral arrangements.

Before her death, Nwobodo starred in Nollywood’s classics; Indemnity (2006), Never Say Goodbye (2003) and Made in Cambridge (2006).
