A young Nigerian man took to his Twitter page to reveal the reason why he broke up with his girlfriend — according to Bassey Awai, his ex-girlfriend did not have a PVC and that doesn’t sit well with him.

He revealed that, she not having a voter’s card will make her unable to support Nigerian politician, Peter Obi in the forthcoming elections and as such, he can’t be with someone “who doesn’t have the interest of their unborn children at heart”.

Nigerian politician, Peter Obi is one of the Presidential aspirants under the People’s Democratic Party looking to win the Party’s ticket and represent them in the General Elections in 2023.
