Kanye West Sweet Jesus – Jesus Is King is the ninth studio album by American rapper Kanye West. West began recording in August 2018 and originally announced the album as Yandhi. The album missed two initial release dates in September and November 2018 under its original title, before being delayed indefinitely. In January 2019, West began performing with his newly-formed Sunday Service group, performing gospel songs and covers of his discography. Sunday Service performed the songs “Garden” and “Water” live prior to release.
