Emeka Akumefule, better known by his stage name Blaqbonez, is a Nigerian rapper. He recently claimed that he will ultimately get married, but that it will be a unique kind of marriage.
The hip hop singer stated that the reason he does not want to stay in the same room as his wife is because of his own personal preferences.
This was said by Blaqbonez during his appearance as a guest on The Nancy Isime Show, in which he also deftly attempted to shoot his shot. Blaqbonez also stated that he would not mind having such an arrangement with the actress if she is willing to consider it.
The singer who is best known for his hit song “Haba” stated that he and his wife would each have their own bedroom so that they could better accommodate their individual qualities.
Blaqbonez continued by providing the illustration of how he favored a dimly lit room, but his wife would have favored a pink-colored space. He went on to say that he has a particular aesthetic in mind for his bathroom and does not want objects to be strewn about everywhere.
He also stated that being able to keep his polygamous nature by having the ability to have relationships with other women while still being married is made possible for him by having a room that is physically separate from that of his spouse.
According to him;
“I will marry but I will be in a different kind of marriage. I don’t want to be in the same room with my wife. You’ll have your room and I’ll have mine. First aesthetically, what if I’m a batman and I want everywhere dark and batman ish, and you are a barbie princess.
You stay in that room and I stay in this. Also, it helps for my polygamous nature, I can be doing my Ps on the low without disturbing you.”
