It is no news that a healthy lifestyle and diet helps determine the longevity of one’s life. However, new research shows that your birth month is capable of playing a huge role in life expectancy.
According to reports, numerous studies that look at the peculiar attributes to determine who lives to the ripe age of over 100, and who doesn’t – one of such study is by Leonid A. Gavrilov and Natalia S. Gavrilova – suggest that those born in a certain month could live longer and also be happier people.
So, the big question now is – Does your month hold the key to a long life?
Here are some of the things gathered from this and some of such studies:
- The study suggests that “the December-born have a significantly higher risk of surviving up to age 105+ compared to the June-born.”
- It also revealed that December babies tend to be nicer and healthier people.
- A survey conducted on college students in America revealed people born in December complain less than others and are less prone to mood swings.
- Another study suggests December babies have a lower risk of cardiovascular disease.
- The International Journal of Sports Medicine also conducted a study that showed that December babies are also natural-born athletes. It’s been suggested that it could be down to being more exposed to vitamin D during their conception months.
