Juventus went in at half time with a two-goal lead, and they were good value for it. Cagliari started brightly but the hosts got on top pretty early on and haven’t looked back.
Bernardeschi had a goal ruled out for a tight offside call on Morata in the build-up, but Morata got his assist with seven minutes of the half remaining, holding the ball up for Ronaldo to fire in from the edge of the area.
Only a couple of minutes later, he had his second, turning the ball in at the far post after Demiral nodded Cuadrado’s corner on to him.
