The veteran midfielder will be out for a week with a knee injury.
He was allowed to return to the club to start his recovery but he’s decided otherwise.

“I really appreciate Busquets, who has stayed with us even though he could have returned home,” Luis Enrique told Diario AS on Monday evening.

“He can’t play on Tuesday, but he’s decided to stay rather than leave – in spite of our insistence – that says a little about the atmosphere among the squad”.

Busquets will be out for a week or more due to a knee injury he sustained on Saturday. He is unlikely to make it in time for the Atletico Madrid clash on November 21.
