- Apparently, the German hates having fun as he has criticised the fellow footballers for ‘choreographed’ celebrations.
- In particular, he dislikes Griezmann doing his trademark Fortnite gesture.
“If there are rehearsed dancers or choreographies, I find it very silly. Even worse is if there are any objects hidden in their socks,” Toni Kroos told his Einfach mal Luppen podcast, referring to popular celebrations in football.
“Aubameyang once celebrated and took out a mask. That’s where it ends with me. Goal celebrations like those of Griezmann imitating a video game dance are ridiculous.”
“I don’t think that’s a good role model, either. What nonsense.”
Griezmann’s long-time trademark goal celebration comes from famous videogame ‘Fortnite’. The Frenchman dances and gestures just like Fortnite characters.
