Men of Osun state police command have reportedly arrested two people said to be administrators of a Whatsapp group used for mobilisation of EndSARS protest.

Afriupdate learnt that the two whatsapp administrators namely Babawale Popoola and Fisayo Aderemi were arrested and detained since Thursday, November 5 but have been released.

They were also accused of incitement and having information about the looting that occurred a few weeks ago as administrators of the #EndSARS WhatsApp groups and were further asked to provide their members.

Speaking with newsmen, the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Yemisi Opalola did not deny the arrest of Whatsa0p group admins but alleged that they played roles in the arson that followed the protests in the state.
