Following the recent statement released by the Lagos State Government authorities announcing the partial lifting of restrictions on religious places of worship regarding physical gatherings, the House On The Rock Church said its premises situated at Lekki, Lagos is not yet open for in-person services.

“While it is our heartfelt desire that the Church is able to fellowship physically once again, the welfare and safety of our parishioners and all who attend our services at The Rock Cathedral remain our utmost priority,” the church said in a statement on Saturday.

Religious centres in Lagos, including churches, were closed in April as a part of the measures to limit the spread of coronavirus.

Lagos State Government announced on August 1 that churches can reopen on August 9 but in strict compliance to specific guidelines.
