As part of its social responsibility, Helpgate Foundation recently organised a sensitisation programme to educate Surulere, Lagos residents on how to keep safe from COVID-19, while also distributing relief packages to over 50 participants.

The Foundation’s Chief Executive Officer, Pastor Temitope Emovon, said the objective was to join in the fight against the spread of the virus and teach participants how to obey Nigeria Centre for Disease Control’s (NCDC) protocols on the pandemic.

Emovon called on kind-hearted Nigerians, corporate and non-governmental organisations to partner with the Foundation to distribute more relief packages to the less privileged.

She stressed the need for beneficiaries to maintain a social distancing, wear face masks and observe proper hygiene, especially regular washing of hands, always.
