Herdsmen have again, killed three persons in Tyana Village, Rahoss Ward in Riyom Council Area of Plateau State.

The Guardian learnt that the gunmen invaded the village and shot the three youths about 9:34pm on Sunday night, while one other person sustained severe injuries and that farms and crops were set ablaze before the attackers left.

It was also learnt that the attack lasted for about two hours with heavy gunshots in different directions, as residents of the community were held hostage, while security agencies arrived the scene shortly after the hoodlums left.

Representative of Riyom State Constituency in the state House of Assembly, Timothy Datong, confirmed the attack, describing the killing of the three youths as unfortunate.
