- The Catalans reportedly plan to sell Nelson Semedo next summer.
- They have identified Lukas Klostermann as their right-back target, Sky Sports say.
- The RB Leipzig man can play both as a right-back and as a centre-back.
Barcelona are on the market for a right-back and seem to have identified their top target. At least that’s what Sky Sports report.
RB Leipzig’s right-back Lukas Klostermann is seen as the one to succeed Nelson Semedo at the club. It was reported earlier that the Portuguese is free to go next summer as Blaugrana were disappointed with his lack of progress.
As for Klostermann, he is considered to be one of the most promising full-backs in Bundesliga. Last season, the 23-year-old contributed with five goals and three assists across 40 matches.
Besides his skills, Lukas is also known for his athleticism. The defender stands at 1,89 meters which makes him suitable to play as a centre-back if needed.
Another option the Catalans are reportedly considering is Bayer Munich’s Joshua Kimmich. However, getting him would be nearly impossible.
Klostermann made his debut for the German national team in 2019 and already has eight appearances under his belt.
