The Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council (OYC), yesterday, thanked President Muhammadu Buhari for giving approval to Ebonyi State to construct a new international airport.

A statement in Abakaliki, signed by its national President, Mazi Okechukwu, said the harmonious relationship existing between the Presidency and Southeast governors, irrespective of party affiliations, was beginning to pay off.

The approval was contained in a letter signed on behalf of the Minister for Aviation, Hadi Sirika, by the Director, Safety and Technical Policy, Capt T. A. Alkali.
