Anthony Martial has become just the third United player in the era of squad numbers to reclaim his former shirt.
The Frenchman has been handed the no.9 jersey back following Romelu Lukaku’s deadline day transfer to Inter Milan.
The 23-year-old’s initial number has been controversially given to Zlatan Ibrahimovic upon the Swede’s arrival to the club in the summer of 2016. Lukaku wore the shirt after Zlatan’s departure.
