TikTok COO Pappas Quits according to an email that was seen by Reuters on Thursday, TikTok Chief Operating Officer V. Pappas will be leaving the firm after working there for five years. TikTok is a short-video company that is owned by China’s ByteDance.
Pappas informed the staff of the company via email that they would be acting in a consultative capacity for the business during the changeover.

Pappas, who uses the pronoun they, stated that they feel it is finally the appropriate time to move on and focused on their business hobbies. “Given all the successes reached at TikTok, I finally feel the time is right to move on and refocus on my entrepreneurial passions,” he said.

Zenia Mucha, a 20-year veteran of Walt Disney Company (DIS.N), will be joining TikTok as chief brand and communications officer, it was announced on Thursday by ByteDance Chief Executive Shou Chew in a note to employees that was reviewed with Reuters. The memo was sent to employees.
According to Chew, TikTok’s current chief of staff, Adam Presser, will be promoted to the position of head of operations and will be responsible for content, user operations, and distribution.
